Accepting Housing Authority City of Yuma (HACY) & Section 8 Vouchers
We gladly work with applicants participating in the Housing Authority City of Yuma (HACY) and other housing assistance programs, including Section 8 housing vouchers.
TCOCK Property Management offers apartments throughout Yuma, Arizona, and many of our communities qualify for housing voucher programs depending on availability and program approval. Our goal is to make the rental process simple and straightforward for applicants using housing assistance.
How to Rent an Apartment Using Your HACY or Section 8 Voucher
1. Find an Available Apartment
Browse our available apartments on our listings page and choose a unit that fits your needs and voucher requirements.
2. Tour the Apartment
Schedule a tour or complete a self-guided viewing (when available) to make sure the apartment is a good fit before applying.
3. Submit an Application
Complete a rental application directly through our website. All applicants must go through our standard approval process.
4. Submit Your RTA (Request for Tenancy Approval)
After approval, submit your RTA paperwork by emailing it to our office or dropping it off in person. We will complete the landlord portion and submit it for processing.
5. Housing Authority Inspection
The Housing Authority City of Yuma will schedule an inspection of the unit. Once the apartment passes inspection, we can move forward with the lease.
6. Pay Security Deposit
After inspection approval, the security deposit must be paid in order to move in.
7. Sign Lease & Move In
Once the lease agreement is signed and the deposit is received, you will receive move-in instructions and can begin moving into your new home!
